Rhoda, Come to the Door!

Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him

Acts 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark: where many were gathered together praying.

And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken named Rhoda. And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

And they said to her, thou art mad! But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, it is his angel.

But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished. And motioning to them with his hand to be quiet and listen, he relayed to them how the Lord had delivered him out of the prison. (This verse amplified)

On Friday, God spoke very clearly to me on several occasions, “Rhoda, come to the door! My Rhoda, come to the door!”

Rhoda was the damsel who came to hearken at the sound.

Imagine this! To a house filled with intercessors, a sound came forth. A knocking on the door! And a servant girl named Rhoda, whose name means a rose, hearkened to it!

When she knew Peter’s voice, in her gladness, she failed to open the gate. That was no mistake. That was God!

She ran in and told how Peter stood before the gate. And they said to her, you are a nut! Your crazy! It’s his angel!

But she wasn’t swayed! She wouldn’t be tossed to and fro by every wind of a double minded doctrine! She was there praying too! She was there and she heard what the elders declared and the prophets said and she wouldn’t divert! She didn’t lose sight of the reality of her hearing! She remained constant!

It’s true! The manifestation has come! The answer is at the door! He has come for your words!

Yet, they still insisted it wasn’t so! Oh, it’s just an angel. And meanwhile, what had been released to them remained outside knocking!

It wasn’t until they, “together”, went to the gate and opened it that they saw and then they believed and were amazed!

Let me say it this way! It was not until there was agreement that the manifestation of answered prayer was able to come in! Realities are about to enter the house where two or more are gathered in His name! The Reality is coming in our midst!

There must be stronger agreement with the realities that have been prophesied! The must be stronger agreement with the truth that has been declared from the pulpit!

Peter demonstrated something very important that we don’t want to miss. God is motioning His hand, the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor and the teacher before us now. Keep quiet and listen! There is a relating now of just how things are taking place.

Where are the watchmen to let the Shepherd in? (John 10:2-3)  Rhoda “a rose”, will you?

Do You Have A Sparkle?

Revelation from Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium!
Molly, the one chosen to inherit all of Mr. Magorium’s store and all of it’s glory, was riding on a bus, trying to write the rest of her story…struggling to compose the last verses of her song, when she looked up and saw a sign.

Do you have a sparkle?
Take a gaze at the stars in Edward’s Planetarium

After reading it, she looked around, almost as if it had spoken out loud to her and she wondered if anyone else heard it.

Ever have that happen to you?

Now you have to understand. Molly didn’t want that store. In her heart, there was somewhere else she needed to be. Something greater she needed to do. Something left unfinished in her life. She had been composing a song since she was a child and she wanted to see it finished.

But Mr. Magorium saw something different. He knew she was to carry on His legacy and the music would come. It was all part of a bigger plan.

Shortly after she read the sign, she asks the accountant (nicknamed Mutant) a series of questions.

What do you see when you look at me?

Do you see a sparkle?

You know a sparkle…a reflection of something bigger that’s trying to get out!

OK! Now I was looking around just like Molly did in that scene on the bus! I knew God was speaking to me!

The word in this hour is “Arise and shine for thy light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

I found myself asking those same questions.

There is a reflection of something BIGGER that’s trying to get out!

Again…Here’s your sign!

Do you have a sparkle?
Take a gaze at the stars in Edward’s Planetarium

Father prompted me to take a look at the name Edward. Edward means “guardian of wealth.” Sounds like Jehovah Jirah to me!

In prayer and through prophecy recently, God has been speaking to us through the constellations. The North Star, Ursa Major , Ursa Minor and the big dipper.
It was by appointment that I purchased this movie and watched it with my children!  It was a sign to me! GAZE AT THE STARS…at the guardian of wealth’s planetarium! This is definite confirmation!

While attending a conference recently, Mahesh Chavda (www.generals.org)  was a guest speaker. He said that we as children of God have a glory bubble that can and will effect those around us. That we emanate a different reality. Another definition of sparkle is to emit bubbles.

At one point in the movie, Mr. Magorium dances on a large sheet of bubble wrap that Molly laid out for him. As he danced, it made music with every step he took! That to me is a beautiful analogy of our “glory bubbles’, emanating the very sound of Father’s dance over us! We must give Him a place to dance! How He rejoices as the sound of heaven is heard in the earth, as we release His glory!

I could blog for miles about all the prophecy in this movie but only a few more inches I promise!

Mahesh Chavda also gave a testimony about how they are seeing many miracles take place of people waking out of comas. And one in particular, God spoke to Mahesh and said, “Wake up sleeping beauty!” And to make a long story short, he used those exact words to do so. He didn’t say a long prayer and he didn’t fill the religious quota!  Gasp! He just simply said what God said to him.  “Wake up sleeping beauty!” That was God’s prescription for that moment.
There is an awakening taking place! The coma is not a mere happenstance. It’s relevant to what is taking place in the earth today. It’s time to wake up!  Wake  up America the Beautiful!

At one point in this movie, the accountant fainted after witnessing a “block of wood” come to life. (Ha! So prophetic!) And these are the famous last words Molly said to the accountant! Can you guess? “You have to get up sleeping beauty!”

By the way, the accountant’s nickname, mutant, means to change! Things are changing!
You can count on it!

A Little Further Than The Eye Can See!

Yesterday I went for a routine eye exam. My eyes haven’t been examined for quite some time and I knew they were changing.

Upon looking at my eyes, the doctor said, I have good news. Your eyes have improved! You are not nearly as near-sighted as you used to be!

Of course, immediately God began speaking. This is a marked time! These were words, even though the slightest change, that cause me to cling to a promise that God has given me! I can see it a little better now!

A nearsighted person can be defined as one who has bad distance vision: unable to see clearly objects that are far away.

We can conclude then that a nearsighted person has trouble really focusing on anything other than the immediate or the biggest picture. That’s what can be seen most accurately.

I find it interesting to note as well that in the U.K., ophthalmologists use the term short-sighted rather than nearsighted. That puts things in a whole new light as well. To be short-sighted is to do something in the short-term, without taking the future into account.

Hmmm….an account for the future. Can’t you just see that?

Umm, Yes sir! I’d like to open an account today! A future account.

And what exactly do you expect to deposit into this account?

Well, Sir, I can’t exactly see what it is I have here! It’s pretty far away and it’s all a bit of a blur!

Well, that will never do! This isn’t that kind of account! What I need here is your report!

Report! What do you mean report? This is a future account!

Yes, that’s correct! Your future can only be contained in your account!

What are you saying?

The question is, what are you saying? This account is your report! It’s the written or spoken report of something. Habakkuk says, “Write the vision!” What you can read will determine what you see and what you see will be determined by what you write! You see, the instruction here is first to see the vision but in order to write it, the vision must be interpreted. Revelation defined.

Now, shifting gears here….

Last night at the World Lighthouse, Lisa Butler brought the prophetic word that God is activating interpretation of what we see. That we accurately interpret the vision.

An eye exam is a perfect analogy of what true interpretation looks like.
Just imagine the doctor is God and the eye chart is the Word of God. How “near sighted” or “far sighted” we are will determine how well we read the chart!

He begins by asking, can you read anything on the bottom line?

He then asks, how about the top line? Tell me if you can make it out at all.

By determining how well we can see the top line, he begins making adjustments based on the bottom line.

When we read the word, we see the largest letter, it’s surface. It’s top line. That’s vision. But we must meditate, focus and adjust our lenses, until we really see fine print. That’s bottom line! Revelation and interpretation.

You see, the bottom line is the unavoidable factor: the most important factor that must be accepted!

Bottom line, it’s about adjusting our sight until we have His vision! We must see what He sees!

It’s unavoidable! It will happen and it’s important that we see it the way God sees it because if the picture is distorted, it when it does happen, it will not be what we expected.

Without my glasses, I can look at an object in the distance and think it to be one thing yet as I get closer, it’s all together different! What looked like a horse is actually a cow. How many know that a cow isn’t gonna take you anywhere? What I thought was bottom line, wasn’t.

The bottom line is the only thing that will be available for withdrawal in our “future account”.

And we shift one more time…

Last night on the way home, I had yet another very interesting revelation of discernment and even government of our focus. I was talking with my best friends little girl and she said, “Miss Stacey. Do you know why pirates wear patches over their eyes?”

No. Why?

Well, they put the patch over one eye during the day so that only that eye is adjusted to daylight. And then they put the patch on the other eye at night so that eye is adjusted to only darkness. That makes one eye really strong in the day and the other strongest at night and if the enemy comes, he can see perfectly and his eye doesn’t have to adjust!

Alexie! That is so prophetic! God just showed me something when you told me that!

Oh! I thought I was only just talking.

Father, thank you! Thank you for speaking as you do and for the vision for our lives both corporately as the body of Christ and individually. Refine our seeing Lord! Fill our future accounts Lord and help us to see very clearly the bottom line. Examine our eyes so that we can accurately write the vision. Lord, make us like the pirate, with strong eyes, discerning both light and darkness. Train our eyes Lord! Yes, our eyes are in training and we shall see you! We know that our future is comprised of the Coming Christ! You said to watch because you are coming and we watch! Thank you Lord!

The Pie in the Sky is About to Be Served

In prayer, God spoke very clearly to me that my “peripheral” vision was about to change. I didn’t know exactly what that meant but I had a picture of Him filling up my eyes. Oh, How I want my eyes being just full of Jesus.

I began to study out that word peripheral and I became undone. Sometimes the truth will do that to you. All this time, I had been seeing God in the peripheral. The peripheral is what can be described as the outer part of the vision. And for someone to use that terminology, it would mean this (brace yourself): accessory, supplemental, back-up, makeshift, substitute, added, additional, a contributor, assistant, supportive, secondary, subserviant, subordinate, despensible, excess or non-essential.

What have I been doing? How could I?

I have been making Jesus an accessory? Like, “Hey great outfit! Now I just need some accessories! Jesus sounds good!”

Had I been taking my Lord and Saviour as a supplement just to give my system a boost? Jesus Christ is not the back-up plan! He is THE PLAN! The only Way and the only Life!

He is not a make-shift Savior! I can’t just make Him what I want Him to be!

How about substitute, added, additional? Substitute for what? “Oh, I can’t have that! I guess I’ll just take Jesus!”.

He is not an addition! He IS the One who WAS and IS and IS to come! He needs nothing else! How could I possibly suppose that I could add Him, the Creator of the Universe to anything? “Let’s just add a little bit of Jesus and that will make it all right! There, see! That’s nice, isn’t it?”

And contributor? An assistant or supportive to me? What is He supposed to contribute to? My cause? He is not my assistant, my support person! I am His! He doesn’t have to assist me with anything or support me in anything that is not His will for me! Nor does He have to assist with anything that does not bring glory to our Father!

He is not secondary nor is He subserviant, subordinate! He is second to none! There is no other God before Him, nor this there any beside Him! He is the Beginning! He is the Alpha! The First! And thankfully, he chose to be my End! He chose to be Last! He chose to be my Omega! The end of Stacey! The end of hell for me! The end of sickness, poverty and fear for me!

Last but not least, my Jesus is not despensible. He is not take it or leave it! He is not excess! He is not dessert!

Jesus Christ is primary! He is basic, fundamental, prime, all-important, essential, imperitive, indespensible, integral, necessary, needed, required, requisite and especially vital! He is the chief, the main, the principle!

The other evening in church, brother Rob made the statement that this Sunday is PIE Sunday. Jokingly I said, “What? We all gonna bake a pie and bring it to you?” And he said, “No, it’s PI like 3.14.” He was speaking prophetically!

I began looking at pi and it startled me! Here’s what I found on Wikipedia:

The name of the Greek letter π is pi, and this spelling is commonly used in typographical contexts when the Greek letter is not available or its usage could be problematic. It is not capitalised (Π) even at the beginning of a sentence. When referring to this constant, the symbol π is always pronounced /ˈpaɪ/, “pie” in English, which is the conventional English pronunciation of the Greek letter. In Greek, the name of this letter is pronounced [pi]. The constant is named “π” because “π” is the first letter of the Greek words περιφέρεια (periphery)…

The symbol for pi can be translated periphery? That is no coincidence!

This morning in prayer, Pastor Doris was praying and said, “write the vision” and all of the sudden, it was like an explosion  went off  on the inside of me and I saw Jesus come into sight. Here is the word that followed:

Yes, we write the vision! What will we see? He must be our vision! He is the Vision! The peripheral vision is changing! No longer will God be the peripheral vision…outside, outside, outside! No more a passing glance or sideways glimpse! He must be the primary vision! No more just a supplement, looking to Him only when we need to! He is the primary vision! He must fill our eyes and there is coming and exchange! What has been outside the primary perimeters is coming inside! And what has been inside, shall be taken out and made peripheral! I see the pupil of the world being enlarged in this gross darkness, straining to see the light and for the church, I see the pupil of the eye being finer than the needle point, full of the Light! Full of the Light! Brother Rob said that this Sunday is PIE Sunday. It’s 3.14! PIE in the Greek means periphery! There is a shift taking place!

I also heard God say, “It’s not just a PIE IN THE SKY!” I got this picture of the pie in the sky being sliced and served!

I did a quick search and here’s what I found! I love Wikepedia! (www.wikepedia.com)

Pie in the sky is a phrase that means a fanciful notion or ludicrous concept. It was apparently coined by Joe Hill in his 1911 song “The Preacher and the Slave” in reference to Christian evangelists’ promise of paradise in Heaven after death. “Pie in the sky” was later popularized by televangelist Reverend Ike who preached that you should forget about “pie in the sky by and by” and to look instead within yourself for divine power.

Here’s the words from Joe Hill’s song, The Preacher and the Slave

Long-haired preachers come out every night,
Try to tell you what’s wrong and what’s right;
But when asked how ’bout something to eat
They will answer in voices so sweet
You will eat, bye and bye,
In that glorious land above the sky;
Work and pray, live on hay,
You’ll get pie in the sky when you die
And the Starvation Army they play,
And they sing and they clap and they pray,
Till they get all your coin on the drum,
Then they tell you when you’re on the bum
Holy Rollers and Jumpers come out
And they holler, they jump and they shout
Give your money to Jesus, they say,
He will cure all diseases today
If you fight hard for children and wife-
Try to get something good in this life-
You’re a sinner and bad man, they tell,
When you die you will sure go to hell.
Workingmen of all countries, unite
Side by side we for freedom will fight
When the world and its wealth we have gained
To the grafters we’ll sing this refrain
You will eat, bye and bye,
When you’ve learned how to cook and how to fry;
Chop some wood, ’twill do you good
Then you’ll eat in the sweet bye and bye

The chorus is sung in a call and response pattern.

You will eat [You will eat] bye and bye [bye and bye]
In that glorious land above the sky [Way up high]
Work and pray [Work and pray] live on hay [live on hay]
You’ll get pie in the sky when you die [That’s a lie!]

Look out world, pie is about to be served! Or should I say pi?

Lent to the Lord

Recently during intercession, I saw a vision of a woman being struck on the mouth.  I did not see the man, just the hand striking her and I asked the Lord, What is this?

I then saw the woman crying and weeping until words would not come and I realized this woman was Hannah.  God spoke to me and said, Grace longs to conceive and to birth sons and daughters in this hour.  The mouth of grace has been marked and it’s time! It’s time for sons and daughters of grace to come forth and be lent to the Lord.

I just want to take a moment to define their names.

Elkanah:  God has possessed or God has created

Hannah: Grace

Samuel: Unreprovable, blameless, unaccused

As I write this, there is something very interesting to note here.  I’ve always heard it taught that Elkanah “struck” Hannah. That’s how “marked her mouth” was interpreted.  So that’s how God had to give me the picture…so that I would identify what He was saying to me but when I studied this, Elkanah did not strike his beloved wife.  When he “marked her mouth”, by definition, he was keeping, guarding, observing, giving heed to it and watching over it!  In fact, another definition is celebrate!

Eric Smith, a minister I recently had the privilege of sitting under,  was quoted saying this, “Tolerance is a form of rejection but celebration is a demonstration of acceptance.”

There is a Spirit of Grace and Supplication.  And God has marked that Holy Spirit!  Sons and daughters come forth!  Let us all be lent to you Lord!  Given at Your asking Lord! Ask me Lord! Ask me!

1 Samuel 1~

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite: And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.  And this man went up out of his city yearlyto worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.  And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:  But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked  her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. And as he did so year by year, when  she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.  And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man  child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.  And it came to pass, as she continued  praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.  Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.  And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.  And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful  spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.  Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint  and grief have I spoken hitherto.  Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.  And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.  And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.  But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.  And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.  And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.  And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.  And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.  For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:  Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.
