How We See It

19 Sep

Psalm 91:7 & 8, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  Only with thine eyes shall thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Last night during church, in prayer, the Lord released some insight into the next season for me and I believe for anyone who would receive it.  His Word is never exclusive.  It was very simple really.  Pastor released a Word that we are coming into a new intercession.

After this, I was caught up in a vision, I was standing in a crowd of people who were all pressing on me and they were in my face.  No matter where I turned, I couldn’t see past them. I couldn’t move.

This could allude to many different things and you can discern whether it be circumstances, hardships, burden, infirmity, opinions of people, distractions, etc.

No matter, I was surrounded and I couldn’t make my way through and I couldn’t see my destination.  I knew my destination.  I had direction but I wasn’t getting anywhere.

It was then that I saw the scene played out from Matthew 26, where Jesus would go and pray and then return to find His disciples sleeping.  He was yearning for their participation in the watch.

It is our responsiblity, not God’s, to keep ourselves awake in this season.  It is time to watch and pray.

Again, I was in the crowd but this time, they could only come so close and when they did, they would fall away from me.  That’s when the Words from Psalm 91:7 began to resonate in my spirit. “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”

I realized I had no physical contact with the things that were falling away.  My eyes saw them coming and it was my eyes saw them fall.

That’s when I heard this…”Only with thine eyes shall thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”

Only with thine eyes.

Only with thine eyes.

Only with thine eyes.

It is very important in this season that we participate in the watch.

Our eyes are key!

How we see and the perspective we take is key.

It is only with our eyes that we will behold and see the reward of the wicked.  We don’t have to try to handle it ourselves or take matters into our own hands!  All we need do is watch…
